1. Choose the carrying layout to compare
Start with the configuration you want to purchase. A two-point design uses two attachment locations; a single-point design uses one; a convertible product offers more than one arrangement. Compare hanging movement, comfort and the product’s adjustment system.

2. Identify the stock and handguard interfaces
Record the exact stock and handguard, especially if either has been replaced. Note the approved sling attachment provision at each end. A model name or an M-LOK handguard description is not a complete sling hardware list.

3. Check usable adjustment range and comfort
Compare fit with the clothing and pack you expect to wear. Ask how the usable length is measured and whether it includes the connectors. Height alone is not a reliable size chart.

4. Compare the complete package
Separate the strap, connecting hardware and firearm-side mounts on your list. Verify quantities and included components for the exact option selected. Words such as “QD” or “convertible” do not establish that every required part is included.
